• Dell Server Management Pack Suite 6.1 offers monitoring of Dell server hardware – Dell PowerEdge Servers, Dell PowerVault NAS, Dell Remote Access Controllers (DRAC),  iDRACs and Chassis Management Controllers (CMC) through System Center Operations Manager and integration with various Dell tools. The management pack suite provides Dell-specific views that you can use to observe and drill down the system inventory, status and performance in a network.  The management pack suite also offers key correlation capabilities that enable users to view the complex interconnections and status rollups that are enabled from Dell hardware (e.g., monitoring of VRTX Chassis Storage from Server Node context.) The suite includes agent-free out-of-band monitoring that leverages the embedded server management features using iDRAC with Lifecycle Controller to enable monitoring of a server without the need for an OS agent.

Key new features in Dell Server Management Pack 6.1 :

• Removal of Dell Connections License Manager (DCLM) dependency to help simplify initial installation and configuration of the management pack with SC2012 OM
• Continued support for 13th generation of Dell PowerEdge/PowerVault servers
• Feature Management Dashboard lists the total nodes in use (in lieu of licenses)
• Support for launching Associate Run-As Account task for Agent-free Monitoring Feature from Dell Monitoring Feature Tasks
• Upgrade support from previous versions of MP to MP v6.1
